Information Tankstead collects
Tankstead stores information you choose to enter, including aquarium details, water readings, target ranges, maintenance history and schedules, livestock and plant records, equipment, notes, and selected photos.
Sign in with Apple supplies an account identifier and may supply a name or relay email address according to your Apple settings. Tankstead also stores the account identifier needed to keep your records separated from other users’ records.
How information is used
Information is used only to provide Tankstead’s aquarium tracking, offline recovery, synchronization, reminders, photo storage, export, authentication, support, and account-management features.
Tankstead contains no advertising or third-party tracking SDKs. Tankstead does not sell personal information or aquarium records and does not use them for targeted advertising.
Storage and service providers
Records are cached locally on your device and synchronized to a private Supabase project. Database access is protected with per-user row-level security. Selected photos are stored in a private bucket and displayed using time-limited signed URLs.
Apple provides authentication through Sign in with Apple. Supabase provides authentication, database, storage, and synchronization infrastructure. These providers process information as needed to deliver those services.
Device permissions
Local notifications are scheduled only after you enable a reminder and grant notification permission. Photos are accessed only after you choose them through the system photo picker. Exported files leave Tankstead only through the user-controlled iOS share sheet.
Retention, export, and deletion
Your records are retained while your account remains active. You can export records as CSV or JSON from Settings.
Signing out removes Tankstead’s cached records and scheduled notifications from the device. Choosing Delete account and all data in Settings reauthenticates the account, revokes the associated Apple authorization when applicable, deletes stored photos and database records, deletes the authentication account, and removes the local cache. Account deletion cannot be undone.
Children’s privacy
Tankstead is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when Tankstead’s features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest version.
